What is human academy…

Since 2017, Minor Act’s Human Academy Study Abroad Program has paired high school students from Japan, the US, Canada, and Europe with partner schools in Cambodia for life-changing cross-cultural experiences through full-year exchanges where they are in residence at one of our Partner Schools. Human Academy students study alongside Cambodian students while collaborating to create a year-long youth-led media project. Local instruction is supplemented with workshops and mentorship by visiting Minor Act artists and filmmakers. Human Academy is a program by Minor Act, providing advanced learning opportunities that build hard and soft capacities through direct participation in classroom activities, large-scale civil society projects, and community engagement.
